The Reiki retreat will be held at:
Spirit Haven Ranch
9706 Anchor Ranch Loop
Flatonia, TX 78941
This is a 101-acre ranch in Flatonia, Texas which is about an hour southeast of Austin, Texas. There are primitive campsites, campsites with electrical outlets, a few RV hookups, and access to non-potable water for showering only (please bring water you intend to drink or otherwise consume).
Note: Future events may be at other locations.
IGNIRE Reiki Retreat 2025 is May 23-26, 2025, at Spirit Haven.
The gate opens Thursday at 6 pm on May 22, 2025, if you want to arrive the night before to set up camp (note the kitchen witches won’t start cooking until Friday lunch so be prepared to feed yourself until then). No official activities will begin until Friday, but you’re welcome to come hang out!
Please be packed up and off the property by noon on Monday, May 26, 2025. Note that this is a LEAVE NO TRACE event. Please take all trash with you and leave the land better than you found it.
Early registration for the retreat is $75 per adult! Spots are limited – Register early! Early registration ends at midnight on December 31, 2024.
Regular registration is $90 per adult, and $40 per child. Regular registration runs from January 1, 2025, through April 30, 2025.
If any slots are still open, late registration will be available from May 1, 2025, through May 19, 2025, for $100 per adult.
This registration fee includes a basic tent site with no electricity, and it does not include meals.
Upgrades are available depending on the location.
At Spirit Haven:
If you want or need electricity, it is available for tents for $5 for the weekend. Note: Even if you don’t get the electricity upgrade, there are outlets available to charge your devices. If you want the convenience of having it in your tent or require a CPAP or something, please get the upgrade.
If you prefer to bring an RV, there is a limited number of RV electrical spots available. This is electrical only, no water or dump station. These sites are available for $15 each for the weekend. First come, first served—reserve your spot early. You may also bring an RV but not hook it up to electricity for no additional cost. The RV should remain quiet during the retreat (no loud generators).
Meal ticket: $80 per person. This gives you access to prepared meals from Friday lunch through breakfast Monday. This also includes snacks, water, and Gatorade throughout the retreat.
Yes. We are doing our best to keep costs as low as possible, and part of that means asking everyone to pitch in and do a little community service to make this Reiki retreat a success. There are several options to choose from. Feel free to select all you are open to so when we are placing, we can give everyone assignments they will enjoy (selecting more than one does not mean more assignments, it’s just more options). Here are the options:
Set Up
Are you coming in Thursday? We need to set up a couple canopies and some massage tables. We also need showers set up.
Check In
We need help checking everyone in and directing participants to the correct location to setup camp. This is an ideal position for someone arriving on Thursday and wanting to help out Thursday evening or Friday morning. Being familiar with Spirit Haven Ranch is a plus but not required.
Medical
This is an excellent position for someone who’s medically trained and willing to be on call for a portion of the weekend. Experience in handling trauma (EMT, ER, etc) is a plus. Having people we know we can call on in an emergency is beneficial for all of us.
Snake Wrangler
Do you love snakes? Some people do, some are terrified. If you have an interest in snakes, this is a great option for you. We can’t promise there will be snakes to remove from the property, but we can’t promise there won’t be either. Having people on call to take care of slithery situations will make everyone feel more comfortable.
Drummer
We offer several labyrinth walks so everyone has an opportunity to experience the labyrinth in smaller groups. Each group needs someone to drum. This is an excellent opportunity for drummers (you know who you are)!
Teaching
Do you have ideas of classes or workshops you would like to teach? We’re hoping for a variety of teachers throughout the weekend, please submit your class ideas!
Note: You must be a Reiki Master (or in an apprenticeship program) to teach Reiki I or Reiki II. No Reiki experience is required for other classes such as Yoga or Meditation.
Tear Down
Can you help take some things down Sunday evening? Are you staying through Monday? We have to take down the canopies, massage tables, and showers. We also need people to help make sure everyone has cleaned up their spaces because this is a “leave no trace” event. We may also have other closing duties as they arise.
General Help
This is a catch-all for any other general help we may need during the Reiki retreat and/or for community service options we don’t know exist yet. This may include things like switching out propane at the showers, teacher assistants, making sure everyone has water, or helping people set up/take down tents.
Yes, we will email a schedule of events to all registered participants approximately 2 weeks prior to the Reiki retreat at the email address you supply during registration. If it is within 2 weeks of the event and you have not received the information and schedule, please contact us.
When you get an attunement, your body, spirit, and soul go through a cleansing and balancing period. For a beginner who is first initiated, this period is only three weeks. When you get your second, it’s about six months. We feel stacking even just those is too intense for most people so we only give one level at a time, and then we give you the opportunity to adjust and master that level before moving to the next.
The Master/Teacher level is a year-long apprenticeship program and cannot be completed within the weekend. If you are Reiki II and interested in the next level, speak with Lopsi privately.
We are aware there are other retreats which offer the more intense attunements either at the same time or stacked close together so you can reach the “Master” level within one weekend. We don’t feel this is in the practitioner’s best interests, and our goal is to teach you where you are and what you can handle safely. When you have truly mastered the level you’re on and are ready for the next step, we will be happy to offer it.
If you have no experience, you can learn Reiki I at this retreat (at no additional cost) and receive an attunement for Reiki I.
If you are already a Reiki I, you can learn Reiki II at this retreat (at no additional cost) and receive an attunement for Reiki II.
If you are already Reiki II or a Reiki Master, you can receive another attunement at this retreat because attunements are excellent for helping us balance and align!
