Who should attend?
This retreat is crafted for beginners and the curious: people who want to learn respectful, modern pagan practice โ terminology, ritual basics, and simple, useful techniques for personal practice.
Will there be electricity?
Yes, there are outlets for plugging in air mattresses, CPAPs, etc. Just let us know upon registering what your needs are.
Will there be showers?
No โ showers are not available on-site. Please plan accordingly (backcountry hygiene, wet-wipes, or arrive fresh). Weโll provide beverages, meals, and a comfortable space to change if needed.
Is it clothing-optional?
Yes. This retreat is clothing optional, but all physical interactions and photographs require explicit consent for all involved.
Can I bring my children or pets?
No children except on a case-by-case basis if a minor is interested in participating, and only if a guardian will be present. Only service animals permitted.
What should I bring? (Basic packing list)
March weather can be unpredictable โ dress in layers and pack for comfort outdoors. Hereโs a suggested packing list:
- Tent & sleeping kit: tent, sleeping bag rated for expected temps, bed (air mattress, cot, pad, etc)
- Layering & optional clothing: comfy clothing for classes as desired, base layers, fleece, rain shell, extra socks
- Footwear: sturdy shoes/boots + camp shoes
- Personal hygiene: wet-wipes, toothbrush/toothpaste โ remember, no showers on-site
- Water bottle & mug: Bring your own vessels!
- Personal tools: journal (we provide one), pen (we provide one), small altar items youโd like to work with (stones, seashell, chalice, incense, etc.)
- Camp basics: headlamp/flashlight, camp chair, tarp, tent stakes
- Weather extras: sun hat, gloves, warm hat, rain cover for pack
- Optional: extra zip-lock bags for trinkets
Food & dietary needs
Saturday meals, Friday dinner, and Sunday breakfast are included. If you have specific dietary restrictions, tell us at registration and weโll do our best to accommodate.
Labyrinth & Free Time
The labyrinth is available for quiet walking and reflection during free times. We encourage people to use it for grounding, journaling, or meditative walking between classes.
Cell Service
Some carriers have cell service at the land, and others only have minimal service. Prepare to be off-grid, just in case.
